31cm in diameter, this centre piece is inspired by the mystery of the aquatic world. The ammonite design has been hand carved into a mould and then the glass is 'slumped' over the mould in a kiln to create the shape of the bowl. The design which appears on the underside of the bowl, is sand coated to create texture and enhance the shape - emmulating a real fossil. The glass has been delicated tinted with swirls of blue to further enhance the ammonite shape.
